PORT Moresby Netball Association president Evanelia Kini has advised council members of the adjournment of their Annual General Meeting last Saturday.

Kini said the meeting was postponement because of insufficient time, poor weather and the departure of some council members.

The AGM has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 27.

The meeting will deal with the remaining items on the agenda, including the election of new office bearers for the 2013-2014 seasons.

The meeting will start at 1pm at the Rita Flynn Netball Courts.

The elections will be for patron, president, vice president, general secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer, assistant treasurer and three ordinary members.

“POMNA runs two competitions, the seniors and the juniors and therefore based on POMNA’s Constitution (Clause 7.c) the election will include one chairman and record secretary for each completion and three committee members each per competition,” Kini said.

All clubs have been urged to send two representatives to attend so the meeting can go ahead
