A NEW Paradise lounge was opened recently by Air Niugini for its executive club members at Hoskins airport in West New Britain.
Air Niugini chief executive officer Simon Foo said passengers travelling out of Hoskins airport could now enjoy the new facilities.
“Air Niugini endeavors to improve customer service. New and improved lounges are part of it,” he said.
“It’s a brand new lounge with comfortable sitting arrangement, tea and coffee facility and toilets.
“Our executive club members can sit in the comfort of a new lounge while waiting for their flights.”
Air Niugini has more than 5000 executive club members. It has nine Paradise lounges in its domestic network including Mount Hagen, Lae, Tokua, Madang, Kieta, Wewak, Goroka, Hoskins and Port Moresby.
Hoskins Chamber of Commerce president Ian O’hanlon welcomed the new facility.
“It ensures convenience when you can sit right here in comfort with a nice snack and cuppa while waiting for the aircraft. Perhaps you can also conduct a little business by networking while waiting,” O’hanlon said.
An executive club member can access any Paradise lounge depending on membership level.
Other benefits include preferred seat arrangements, additional baggage allowance, specific check-in counter and prior check in. The members also have the privilege of enjoying the comfort of Air Niugini partner lounges and purchase inflight duty on discount when travelling overseas.
