Air Niugini moving PPEs

Air Niugini has been operating freighter services to transport personal protective equipment (PPEs) and medicines medical items and medical personnel during the state of emergency.
The airline’s general manager of cargo, Gus Kraus, said Air Niugini was using the Dash 8-200 combi freighter for domestic routes.
It can take up to two-and-a-half tonnes of cargo per flight and also allows for a limited number of essential personnel to travel on the flight.
Kraus said since March 25, Air Niugini delivered around 10 tonnes of supplies to almost all provinces.
