Air Nuigini aims higher with new programme

AIR Niugini managing director Alan Milne launched a new and exciting programme called Higher Altitude in Port Moresby yesterday.
This programme is an initiative of Milne since taking up office last year. He wants to see it grow with support from all his staff.
The programme covers four main pillars: cost control, revenue opportunities, staff, operational and customer excellence.
“This is not a transformation programme to fix something that is broken in this airline company, but is a programme to turn a very good airline into a bright airline in the future,” Milne said.
“Higher Altitude is in control of that and will explain how we are going to do that.
“Essentially, the programme splits into four main areas.”
Milne said the programme had so far made K20 million since it started in Nov 2018.
