The PNG Air Services Ltd has given K50,000 towards the PNG hearts for Australia fire appeal.
Chairman of the PNG hearts for Australia fire appeal committee Paul Nereau said the donations received showed that everyone felt for the victims of the bush fire in Australia and the Australian government.
Australia High Commission official Diane Barclay said PNG and Australia had a good relationship.
She said the generosity and the heartfelt support showed by Papua New Guineans were amazing.
Barclay said more than 10.9 million hectares had been ravaged by the fire across Australia, with more than 3000 homes lost and 33 people losing their lives.
