Air transport wing celebrates anniversary

THE PNG Defence Force air transport wing (ATW) is not only about piloting roles, but other maintenance and technical aircraft skills in the organisation.
Speaking at the ATW’s 46th anniversary celebration yesterday, chief of operation Col Opa Lari told his officers that they played important roles to save lives as well.
“I’m very proud that in the recent years, with the help of our partners, we have been able to put some of our personnel through skills trainings to complement what others bring to the development of our capability,” he said.
Col Lari reminded them of their loyalty and commitment to the ATW, adding that their behaviours would contribute to the standards and values of the organisation.
