Airlines expand flight services

FOLLOWING PNG Air’s codeshare launch on Virgin Australia flights between Port Moresby and Brisbane, the airline is now ready to commence the second stage enabling its passengers to travel onward to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, in addition to Brisbane. This is expected to commence from Sept 30, according to a statement from Virgin Australia,.
“Also from now PNG Air passengers on codeshare flights operated by Virgin Australia, between Port Moresby and Brisbane will be able to earn velocity points and status credits,” the airline said in a statement.
“Velocity frequent flyer is Virgin Australia’s award winning loyalty programme and gives members a range of ways to earn and redeem velocity points including on flights.”
