Alarm over NID officers

I note with great caution the current changes happening at National Identification (NID) Office in Waigani.
The changes have created so much anxiety and uncertainty among the staff.
An issue that needed a serious attention among others is salaries not being paid on time.
The new management needs to really address this issue once and for all.
It should do this rather than going to the media and pleasing everyone about the NID project. People who are doing the job are suffering in silence.
Most fortnights we go without pay.
Life in the city is hard: Rentals, food for the family and an endless list of expenses.
That is the concern of every NID officer since the project began.
