WESTERN Highlands police have completed their file on an alleged murderer who has been asked to make a submission on it on Sept 18.
Christopher Johnson Kamo, 39, from Kambaramba village in Angoram, East Sepik, appeared in the Mt Hagen Committal Court on Friday charged with the murder of four people, including his wife.
Senior magistrate Betty Jacob adjourned the matter to next Wednesday for Kamo to make submission on the file.
The court told the defendant to go through the file and make his submission if there was any insufficiency on the police file.
Kamo is accused of killing his wife, her two daughters from her previous marriage and their baby sitter on May 6 at Kim Pawa village.
Police alleged that on May 6, between 2pm and 5.30pm at Kim Pawa village, the defendant without any good reason sent baby sitter Maggie Geyocmata, 20, out of the house and strangled Irene and Genelyn Narakaus.
Police claimed that the defendant saw that the two girls didn’t die, so he got a stone and hit their heads with it, causing fractures and head injuries that resulted in their deaths.
Police alleged Kamo called Geyocmata into the house and cut her left throat with a kitchen knife and stabbed her all over the body, causing her death.
He spared the life of his biological daughter, Adonia Christopher, and took her to Kagamuga airport and left her with a couple, Charles Hakquambikai and Betty Malali and came back to the house.
Police said that his wife Silingu Lamu, 38, finished work at Oil Min Holdings in Mt Hagen city and came home where Kamo stabbed her to death.

  • Such insane person who has animal brain should be convicted and put on the electric chair so he can die as well. Taking the lives of innocent children and the mother is unacceptable and it very disgusting.

  • This animal should be crucified for his animalistic character he possesses. This kind act of brutal hacking should be condemned to the fullest. Slaughtering innocent lives by one individual is total insanity. Mock him and the law should crucify him and not allow such an animal on the streets again.
