Allocate bigger budget to arm our troops

The National, Wednesday 11th January 2012

LET this be an eye opener to the current government and the next government.
We are under threat from an invasion by our neighbouring countries.
The current situation regarding the Indonesian airspace saga should be a wake-up call for the government.
From a military perspective, we stand no chance if Indonesia decides to attack us.
How can we defend ourselves with small arms against jet fighters and tanks?
The government must increase the budget allocation to our defence force to buy anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons, even jet fighters.
