Allow churches to take part in appointments

CHURCH authorities’ participation in teaching appointments seem to be upsetting.
We have cases where appointments are done without proper consultations especially between provincial education boards and church agencies.
Teaching Services Commission releases a gazette on teaching positions nationwide then provincial education boards recommend appointments through teaching appointment committees.
It is has come to notice that some provincial education boards isolate themselves or give less attention to church agencies and seem to manipulate appointments without proper and wider consultations.
Church-run institutions have doctrines to adhere to and the integrity of the church cannot be be compromised when teachers do not meet requirements to serve in their schools.
The Teaching Service Commission and provincial education boards should allow church agencies to take part in appointments.
Most of the students in Papua New Guinea were, are, and will be taught by church-run schools.
