Allow students to register

Letters

AN institution owned by the Seventh-day Adventist church has its foundation rooted in Christian education philosophy of Ellen G White.
It should be an environmentally welcoming atmosphere with staff understanding students.
They are supposed to greet students and everyone with friendly gestures.
They are expected to be polite to students when helping them.
Such is not the case as students were turned away from a school gate due to the Covid-19 isolation strategy.
Most students who haven’t completed registration were also rejected by a security guard.
Are they trying to prove their loyalty and commitment in keeping the regulations set by the National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning?
It is confusing because the staff’s children travelled out to attend schools in the city but they were not denied entry.
Even the security guards who stopped us from entering the school reside far from the school and mix around with people.
Why can’t they allow day students to register?
