Allowances delayed for tertiary students

MINISTER for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology Pila Niningi, I am a parent of four children attending various tertiary institutions in the country and all have government scholarships.
I am concerned that it is now the third quarter of the year and the students under this scheme are yet to receive their allowance.
In the middle of last year, the students were paid a lump sum, but how long will they wait this year?
As a parent I am finding it hard to support my children with their small needs, and I am sure other parents feel the same way too.
Uncertainty and anxiety are building up as to whether the students will receive their payments and their return airline tickets in October/November this year.
