PORT Moresby Rugby Football League clubs wishing to participate in the NGCB 9s tournament has until today to pay up their fees for inclusion in the draws.
The chairman of POMRFL Board Labi Amaiu yesterday said the teams knew what the requirements were, and they must pay immediately before the deadline today.
He said the money would be used to pay for referees, linesmen and administration cost apart from what they had secured from the National Gaming Control Board.
Amaiu brushed aside rumours that the teams were free to take part.
“There is no such thing place for a free spot in the competition. All the teams must pay the required fees to participate in the pre-season tournament,” he said.
Amaiu also reminded the clubs to pay their POMRFL affiliation and registration fee before the season proper kicked off.
He urged all the clubs to comply with the constitution to pay their outstanding dues and required fees.
