Amini Cup winds down

 THE ITI Port Moresby Cricket Com­petition ends this weekend with the T20 Brian Amini Cup finals.

 The advent of continuous rain rendered the turf wickets unable to be prepared, resulting in washout games for the weekend and positions on the ladder remaining unchanged. 

POMCA playing rules meant the exit of fifth placed Moniplus Kempa. On Saturday morning, Rigo teams Trukai Hoods and Chilli Sounds Raukele will battle to remain in the finals series, while fellow Motuan rivals AASL United and BNG Poreporena clash for the first grand final spot.

The preliminary final will be held on Saturday afternoon, with the grand final on Sunday.
