Announcements confusing people

Letters

READING through The National on Wednesday, Police Minister Kramer said PMVs can operate within provinces.
Those travelling outside provinces are not given the green light.
But acting Assistant Commissioner of Police and Divisional Commander NCD-Central Anthony Wagambie Jr said PMVs should not operate.
Taxi drivers who are operating have mentioned that they have been harassed by policemen on why they were taking fares.
This has caused confusion.
People in higher authority should be clear on their decisions.
Directives should be clear and conscious with regards to PNG’s volatile outcomes in times of disasters.
What if a cab driver was bashed or even murdered by opportunists?
Who will shoulder the blame for this differing decision?
Both Kramer and Wagambie are right with their reasons but only one decision should be made on whether PMVs should operate or not.
