THE Assemblies of God (AOG) movement in East Sepik province will for the first time send one of its local pastors to minister the Word of God in Cairns, Australia, this Christmas.
Wewak town church (AOG) senior pastor Robert Augustine (right) captured the attention of the church in Australia when he spoke briefly at a women’s convention early this year.
“I only spoke for five minutes when I took a women’s team from my church to Australia.
“That brief appearance was more than enough to convince Australians to invite me to speak in a country which is more advance in all facets.
“I am deeply humbled by their invitation,” Pr Augustine said.
He said that even though he had ministered in the Philippines, Singapore and parts of Indonesia, he considered America and Australia as the most advanced countries.
He said “to choose someone from a developing country to minister there is something which I cannot comprehend”.
Meanwhile, Pr Augustine appealed to all concerts under his ministry and those who wish to willingly give to support God’s work to call him on telephone 856 1072, 685 7078 or deposit their seeds into account number 1000600194 at any Bank South Pacific branches nationwide.
