Apologise to Basil

I AM writing in response to Mumeng Landowners Association president’s letter last Monday regarding our Bulolo MP and Deputy Prime Minister Sam Basil’s involvement in the recent political saga.
The association is not affiliated to any political party and does support any candidate in the upcoming elections.
The association is and will be happy to work with Mumeng local level government, Bulolo development authority and Morobe Governor Ginson Soanu.
Our constitution stipulates that Mumeng Landowners Association is the voice of the silent majority in our 25 wards and should not be used by certain individuals for political point-scoring and gains.
I ask the association’s president Max Giamiti to apologise to Basil regarding his statement.
Let us all work together with all our politicians and have more political support from them to ensure our goals are achieved.
