Apology in order

Letters, Normal

CAPTAIN Richard Leahy has been with us for so long and has helped us in all his capacity as a pilot and we owe him and respect him more than we do you, Governor Luther Wenge.
And for you to criticise him is like a sword striking into our flesh.
We, the rural Papua New Guineans, families and relatives of Capt Leahy deserve an unconditional apology from you and the office of the governor.
So come on, Mr Wenge, please apologise.
Apologising is not a sign of weakness; it is a virtue of great strength, love and passion for your people whom you pledged to serve.

Matt,
Lae
