FIJI Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama says after careful consideration, Fiji has decided to nominate Ratu Inoke Kubuabola for the post of secretary-general of the Pacific Island Forum.
Bainimarama has repeatedly said Sitiveni Rabuka was not a fit person for leadership because of his role in carrying out the first military coup of 1987 which brought the country to its knees and plunged it into institutionalised racism.
Wasn’t Ratu Kubuabola a key member of Rabuka’s coup party?
So how come Rabuka is no good but Kubuabola is good for leadership in a premier regional body?
