THE Morobe provincial executive council’s approach to church leaders over the liquidation of Kambang Holdings Ltd, the business arm of Lutheran church, has been condemned.

Family of ELC-PNG treasurer Noreo Keindip were unhappy with the manner in which the politicians approached the church headquarters to vent their frustrations on Monday.

Keindip, Rev Elemas Bakung and former Lae MP Bart Philemon stood before the council members who included deputy governor Judas Nalau, Charlie Foike, Daki Mao, Jackty Yotipo, Philemon Tomala and Joel Alu.

Kathleen Ambane and Sam Asaria said the approach was disgraceful of mandated political leaders of the province.

Ambane said Keindip was appointed recently as the church treasurer and had no idea of the affairs and mismanagement of KHL.

She said the political leaders failed to demonstrate leadership in finding an amicable solution.

“It’s unbecoming of leaders to come, argue and shout, calling all sorts of words in the vicinity of the church without respect” she said.
