Armed gang rob city shop manager

AN ARMED gang robbed a shop manager in Port Moresby of K21,000 on Tuesday.
According to National Capital District Met Supt Benjamin Turi, the five suspects armed with a pistol entered the Brother Supermarket at 6-Mile and robbed it.
Turi said the thugs held up the manager, Steven Chan, and took about K21,000 cash from a safe.
He said the suspects used two stolen vehicles to escape.
He said the five suspects were on the run and police were still looking for them and the vehicles.
Meanwhile, Turi said police recovered another stolen vehicle at Gerehu on Tuesday.
