Arore: Daily flights to Oro to boost economy

THE daily flights into Popondetta will help grow and expand businesses in Northern, Ijivitari MP David Arore said. 

Praising Travel Air, Mangi Lo Ples for for making flights available into the province, Arore said its flights would help promote its economy.

He said he believed that the people would take advantage of the weekly flights and expand on their business activies.

“We are hoping that your contribution will be a catalyst and enhance the economic activities there and take Oro forward,” he said. 

He urged the airline to seize this opportunity to enhance its operations for the benefit of the province and its business sector. 

“You can capitalise on this industry and see what you can make best out of this province. 

“It (province) has a lot to offer to this country and maybe while you are looking at passengers, you can also start looking at your cargo in terms of vegetables from this province.

“This province is the closest to Port Moresby and we can discuss and see how we can transport vegetables to Port Moresby to partake in the big market out there.” 

Arore thanked Tavel Air for pushing to have flights into the province.
