Theatre arts students from the University of Papua New Guinea will perform during PNG Fashion Week next month, following an agreement signed yesterday.
Head of theatre arts division Sophie Naime said the agreement signed with PNG Fashion Week would allow for practical assessment of students studying theatre arts management.
The fashion week is from April 11 to14 at Vision City in Port Moresby.
Naime said the event would allow students to showcase what they had.
PNG Fashion Week managing director Philma Kelegai, said: “The partnership is very important.
“It’s the first of its kind that has been done and we are very privileged to take on this partnership.
“As part of the partnership, we will be working with arts students.
“Aims is to nurture the students to create opportunities for them.”
