The theme of the anniversary is, “God has done great things, Great things he will do”.
A working committee has been set up in NCD to organise the event.
Regional coordinating committee chairman for Southern Region William Huasiwahin is calling on young people with gifts and talent to assist the organising committee as well as businesshouses or Christians who are willing to donate resources.
A major fundraising drive will be held on Oct 27, with a fundraising dinner at Dynasty Restaurant in Port Moresby.
The famous Christian gospel group Hillsongs Australia has been invited to be part of this event for the week and will conduct seminars and workshops during day.
National General Superintendent Reverend Joseph Pandu said: “It is time to sow now for the next generation.”
“We are enjoying blessings now because of those early missionaries that have come and gone before us and have sowed, so prepare yourselves now to sow for your blessings, for your children and into the future.”
