Association genuine, not cult movement

ALL villages in Komba, Selepet, and Deyamos local level governments of Kabwum who share land boundaries in the Sarawaget Range have united and formed the association, Sarawaget Track Land Owners Association Incorporation.
There are 80 clans from 40 villages with a total membership of over 14,000.
The association is fully registered with the Investment Promotion Authority, Internal Revenue Commission and has a bank account with Bank South Pacific.
As per the association’s constitution, members of a clan will contribute K5 each unlike other groups who demand very high contributions with no achievements.
The association is real because we have set our aims and goals with consultation from very high-profile academics who have vast experiences in tourism, culture, environment and conservation.
We have sidelined our elderly elites since they have been living in towns and allegedly used our range’s name for benefits – using paper contractors.
They are the ones who will cry foul when they hear about the association because they have no place to go home and settle.
