THE NCD Football Association has taken upon itself the initiative to dress its soccer referees for 2013.

The association, under the leadership of Vonnie Kapi Natto, has seen that the referees had been neglected for a long while, thus the presentation of the new uniforms will boost their role in the field.

“For years, these referees have been using old uniforms in officiating the games,” she said.

Under the new regime, NCDFA has planned to improve the association by making a change with its match officials.

These uniforms is a development in the association, as part of  its focus on improving the standard of refereeing.

The match officials will also be going through coaching programmes in the next few weeks to improve their skills on the world game.

The five sets of uniforms comes in three assorted colours which goes with black shorts, socks and shoes, all being bought in Australia.

The shoes including socks, which completes the full set were presented to the officials last Saturday at PNGIPA grounds.

Referee coordinator, Job Minan commended the Natto and her executives for their recognition to the referees and urged all those issued with the uniforms to be committed to their games.
