Association name squad

THE newly formed Saroa Netball Association have selected a train-on squad – for the seniors and juniors – to participate in the Central tournament in July in Port Moresby.
The announcement of the squad was made by association president Henao Nui after the grand final on Saturday.
Nui said the train-on squad comprised of rural talent from Saroa and nearby villages, who were selected on merit.
She said the players in the Under-10, 13, 15, 17, 21 for juniors, A grade, B grade and Masters would start training on the April 22 at Saroa village netball courts, with the final squad to be finalised in June. The team management was yet to be named by the executives.
“These are all rural based talents which were identified and tapped to compete in the next level to improve their raw skills” the president said.
The squad: Seniors (A grade): Iga Kingsley, Keli Kelly, Kone Tom, Joyce Maino, Cindy Iamo, Karo Henry, Kone Mara, Olive Jonah, Wolly Navuru, Kila Makena and Hane Kokiva.
B grade: Gimoro Hereva, Ilamo Lesega, Endor Kila, Maiga Jeffrey, Garo Jobby, Elsie Foi, Agatha Asi, Kausi Tanu, Joyce Kone, Sheena Sabado, Korena Leva and Cynthia Geno.
Masters: Henao Nui, Diane Kila, Maggie Areni, Dagoda Tubuio, Karo Tauka, Inara Alau, Bera Ioni, Raka Kore, Gisi Vetari, Sibona Noga, Annie Asi, Rodah Rua, Gia Alu, Vavine Billy and Jill Elijah.
Juniors: (U21) Iga Leaia, Bobblyn Bogina, Boge Foi, Shennao Areni, Ruth Geno, Cybel Mahlon, Kabo Kekebogi, Inara Kelly, Aisha Robert, Clara Tom.
U17: Sibona Mairi, Nadia Andy, Kilana Geno, Melissa Kila, Mary Vito, Helen Biyang, Moale Bunu, Oddette Gai, Sumo Samuel, Suia Bethuel.
