Attempted robbery in Buka

FOUR suspects armed with shot guns held up a trade  store in Buka on New Year’s day, leaving an employee seriously injured.
Police said one of the suspects slashed an employee of the trade store with a knife.
In another incident, police reported that a man is alleged to have sexually assaulted a six- year- old girl.
Villages chased the suspect into the nearby bushes after the girl’s mother found the girl bleeding and in distress.
Police said the suspect who is in his 40s is believed to be the girl’s uncle, and is still at large.
