PARLIAMENTARY Services does not have a union to fight for it staff’s welfare and grievances.
The staff are forewarned not to instigate any forums or strikes.
The penalty of such behaviour is termination.
While the management is jumping up and down praising itself on the review and implementation of its new structure, there are fraudulent processes that needs clarification.
A structure review was done and signed by the Speaker Job Pomat in September 2018, which was witnessed by all the staff.
A second hidden review was done in December 2019, only two months later and the Speaker was forced to sign it, rendering the previous review void.
Is this the normal public service process?
Does it take only two months for another review?
Staff requests for school fee salary advances this year have been ignored.
The majority of the staff are below a salary level that cannot sustain them in the city.
Staff in the upper management are enjoying allowances and secretly helping themselves exorbitant salary advances.
Can we have independent auditors, who are immune to bribery, check the books of Parliament’s account?
We have staff having strokes constantly and dying because of financial pressures for children’s school fees and other living expenses.
