Bad road

Letters

WHILE doing a Community Profile of Ward 23-Irumu in Wampar LLG of Huon Gulf, Morobe, I found out that they really need better roads to connect them with the outside world.
Informal sector contributes more to the livelihoods of people in rural areas.
If people cannot bring their garden produces to the markets they will not have money to access services provided by the government.
An article published in Jan 29, 2019, about Manalos Aviation saving lives is a true story.
People in this area cannot access basic services because of the ignorance of the current government just because our current member is on the opposition side.
If the current government points that they were mandated by people then step out of your boundaries and serve the people.
The O’Neill government is doing better and must continue to step into Opposition territory to prove that they are for the people.
Hear the people’s cry and answer them whether their political head is in government or opposition.
The services are rightfully theirs; they paid taxes and have the right to access services equally as others.
Therefore, I request that the government must look into my people’s cry.
