Baki takes a bold step to improve image

Letters, Normal

police commissioner Gari Baki has taken a bold step to improve the image of the police force by stopping all private escorts.
Far too many policemen in full uniform can be seen at shop gates, night clubs, logging sites, and escorting expatriates and businessmen and women.
These escorts are arranged privately.
Reservists must also be made to toe the line. They can be seen hanging around in odd places, chewing buai, drinking and smoking while wearing their uniforms.
Is there a disciplinary board to ensure that these officers do not bring disrepute to the RPNGC?
The rank and file must rebuild its image and regain the respect of the people.
Keep it up, Baki
