THE Westpac Bank has paid K6,000 to the UPNG Banking and Finance Students Association to support the annual banking and finance industry meet and greet.
Westpac PNG chief executive officer Brett Hooker said the bank was committed to helping customers, communities and people prosper.
“And this is a great way to support students who aspire to start a career in the banking and finance industry,” Hooker said.
“We also have a competitive graduate programme which offers students the opportunity to start their banking career with us. We’re always looking to recruit across diverse fields, not just in banking and finance.”

  • Thanks very much to the author for capturing the Banking & Finance Program’s Annual Meet and Greet Event in the article. We also really proud and very much appreciate our sponsors for the event. Such as Westpac PNG Ltd, TISA Group of Companies, ANZ Bank PNG Ltd, NasFund Ltd and finally Fincorp for their great assistance towards our major event for the year.

It’s through their funding support that the event turned out to be an absolute succeess for us the students, staff and industry representatives, where we all really enjoyed the moment.
