TOM Fox has resigned as a Bank of South Pacific director after serving the bank for 23 years.
BSP group chairman Sir Kostas Constantinou last Friday said the bank appreciated his significant contribution.
Sir Kostas said Fox had been a director of the original Bank of South Pacific which became a nationally-owned company in 1993 after the exit of the National Bank of Australasia. He continued as a director of Bank of South Pacific after the amalgamation with Papua New Guinea Banking Corporation (PNGBC) in 2002.
“Fox has contributed immensely over the years from those times as director of Bank South Pacific to the successful growth and development of a widely-recognised pre-eminent bank in the South Pacific,” Sir Kostas said.
