Bank trains store owners
The National, Tuesday May 13th, 2014
BANK South Pacific is training Super Value Stoa owners to become bank agents since the formation of a partnership in June 2013.
BSP Harbour Haus branch manager Alex Kuna said the bank was working to ensure recipients of Super Value Stoa’s received the necessary training to enable them to successfully run their business.
“Each SVS will become a BSP agent through the partnership, enabling them to benefit from BSP’s Smart Business packages and electronic banking solutions.
“Most importantly BSP’s banking solutions will be delivered right at the heart of the communities in which the SVS are located,” Kuna said.
Currently about 3,000 additional BSP agents are spread across PNG, that is indeed a positive development in providing financial services to the people.
