Last year’s premier division grand finalists Westpac found it tough going against Moore Printing as they managed to secure a 13-10 victory.
The Westpac team were out of sorts as they struggled to find consistency in their attack, squandering many chances and allowing Moore Printing to close the margin in the second half.
It was a closer affair in the match between Kina Bank and Brian Bell, with Kina coming out on top 18-15.
With the scores locked at 8-8 at half time, both teams came out firing in the second half.
However, it was Kina’s defence in the goal circle and mid-court that won them the game restricting Brain Bell’s scoring opportunities.
Kina’s shooters Rata Raula and Kula Iamo made their team’s dominance count with their goals to take out the match.
