BULOLO MP Sam Basil is challenging his critics in the province to contest the seat against him.
Basil, who is also the national planning and monitoring minister, was responding to criticisms in the media from his critics in the district who said he had done little on the development front.
For example, Morobe deputy governor and Waria LLG president Morokoi Gaiwata and a pressure group have accused Basil for neglecting the Waria local level government.
They said he only concentrated development on the other five local level government areas.
He claimed that Basil as the chairman of the joint district planning and budget priority committee focused only on Mumeng, Buang, Wau-Bulolo urban, War rural and Watut.
Gaiwata said Waria, the only LLG in Bulolo without a road, benefitted from only K400,000 of K1 million committed by the committee.
It missed out on other programmes on health, agriculture, police and education.
