Lelai stated that all the affiliated centres would be notified of the AGM.
Several agenda items will be tabled by the current executives led by president Nick Daroa.
Their term also expires on the same day (Nov 26).
Top on the agenda is the election of new executives and Daroa said he was re-contesting for the top post.
Other matters on the agenda are the 2011-2015 financial statements and the 2016 unaudited finance report. Also to be discussed are 2015 Pacific Games – Go for Gold programme  summary, minutes of 2013 AGM, the president’s report, CEO’s report and affiliate reports.
BFPNG has taken a drastic turn around with the appointment of CEO Joel Khalu from Australia to lead the strategic development and marketing plan for basketball in the country.
This was a bonus to national basketball as the PNG National Under-18 championships, played at TAC, Port Moresby recently, ended successful under Khalu’s leadership and guidance.
BFPNG president Daroa and his executives have worked closely in consultation with Oceania FIBA director David Crocker to get the code to the next level.
