THERE are two games remaining before the title of the 2009-10 Port Moresby cricket competition will be up for grabs in the men’s A grade division.
Vying for the grand final spot in two weeks time will be PMMI Taora, Kempa, Badili Hardware STC, BNG Poreporena, KCC, Chilli Sounds Raukele, SNS United and Coasters.
Chilli Sounds Raukele will battle with Coasters in the B grade grand final at the Amini Park tomorrow.
In the semi finals, Badili Hardware will take on BNG Poreporena in the Under 19 division.
The winner will face KCC in the grand final on Sunday.
During the finals clashes, the POMCA Board has asked all clubs to condone drinking at cricket matches and to discourage spectators and supporters from bringing alcohol to the cricket grounds.
Clubs should also inform spectators and supporters that there will be increased security at the grounds during the finals series, and anyone attempting to bring alcohol into the park will be refused entry and those found with alcohol will be asked to leave.
Failure to follow these instructions, offenders will be dealt with by police personnel from Boroko Police Station.
The police have already been briefed about drinking in public at the grounds.
