Be clear on PMV fare increases

ANY increase in PMV fares should be approved by authorities and not imposed by operators or crews at will.
Additional charges announced should be supported by key factors that warrant such increases.
The authorities need to convince the public properly about the need to increase fares.
As a Morobe leader, I wish to see that Government rules, regulations and protocols are followed well.
People should not take advantage of changes that aren’t properly communicated.
Income and revenue earned by the public is through hard work.
People spend thousands of kina to operate PMV businesses.
There should be proper declarations for new charges so every person is aware of them.
All unofficially declared additional fees should be stopped and not enforced in all routes in Lae.
