Be tough on murderers

Letters

THE Evangelical Lutheran church of Papua New Guinea’s head bishop Rev Dr Jack Urame’s call for life sentences jail term for killers in sorcery accusations should be applied to tribal and ethnic fights.
Tougher penalties for all kinds of killings, including death penalty, to heinous murderers confirmed and sentenced by courts should be enforced.
We need the Government to sustainably fund law enforcement agencies to perform their work to the best of their abilities without fear or favour.
