Beach volleyball trials to begin in Port Moresby

 THE Papua New Guinea Volleyball Federation will be hosting trial matches for beach volleyball starting this weekend for the next four weeks.

Start times on both Saturdays and Sundays will be from 12 noon to 4pm.

Should there be more interest shown, matches will also be conducted on Wednesday evenings from 5.30 to 9.30.

The purpose for these trials is to select two teams for men and two teams for women to participate at the subzone tournament in Northern Marianas in March . 

This is the beginning of the 2012 Olympic qualifiers for beach volleyball.

The invitation is therefore extended to all associations and individuals with in Port Moresby and  Central to register before  Friday so that the draws can be drafted for the weekend games.

Registration is set at K50 per team of two. 

There is no reserve player. 

This fee must be paid to the treasurer of the PNGVF.
