Being charged for our money

OVER the last few weeks, I went to South Pacific Bank (BSP) and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) bank in Waigani to do business as I have accounts in both places.

It took an hour and six minutes at ANZ to reach a teller and an equally long time at BSP for the same service.

After  seeing their profits declared recently, I wonder if they are providing service to Papua New Guineans.

They are benefiting from our money and then charging us for using our money and an awful lot too.

Both banks can easily cut  service  time  with  a  few modern machines installed and can also cut the charges for their customers.

At present, both banks are taking as much as they can from the people who are making them grow.
