Being smart and innovative

Letters

TO reduce and bring under control petty crime, illegal activities and other lawlessness occurrences in the nation’s capital, police must be smart and innovative in their policing.
One smart and ideal concept police can adopt to fight pick-pocketing, bag-snatching, harassing and intimidation by thugs at bus stops, shop fronts and the market periphery is to investigate familiar and regular faces of men and boys who happens to be there seven days a week.
Police be innovative and bring them into police stations and question them one at a time.
This can help reduce lawlessness and other illegal activities in public places.
