Believe only WHO, Health Dept: Official

A HEALTH authority official in Western Highlands has advised a group of students to believe only information on the Covid-19 released by the Health Department and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Director of health promotion and prevention Freda Pyanyo told lecturers and students at the Highlands Agriculture College on Tuesday not to trust misleading information posted on Facebook.
“Collecting (untrustworthy) information on the internet and social media, and disseminating misleading information, has jeopardised efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic,” Pyanyo said.
“As educated elites, we have to read and understand information relating to the Covid-19 and the vaccines currently being rolled out from reliable sources.”
