Best to avoid Mt Hagen

I Would like to warn non-Western Highlanders to be careful when travelling to Mt Hagen city.
Hageners have taken control of the city by harassing those who come from neighbouring provinces, making it a dangerous place to live and do business.
The local Kanges roam the streets in groups and hold up people, pick pockets, kidnap young girls and even commit murder.
I was a victim and I lost all my money and belongings.
