WITH most of the players returning to school next week, Besta PNG United FC is worried it will be losing most of its players and may jeopardise their chances in the remaining games of the Telikom Cup National Soccer League challenge.
But Besta PNG Utd coach, Matthew Witu, is adamant he has the players capable of completing the season.
Witu said most of his players would be going back to classes next week and he was a bit worried.
However he was confident with other youths currently in the camp , who would ensure his team completed the season successfully.
After watching the fighting spirit of the young players against a more fancied and experienced Gigira Laitepo Morobe FC who trailed 1-0 at the break, he was convinced they would put up a good fight against other NSL sides.
Besta PNG United FC will be missing the services of skipper and sweeper Caleb Bosuk, Jos Kanbakoko (Mt Hagen Secondary), Emmanuel Azakopa (Kokopo Business College) and Joseph Cidi (Madang Technical College).
Witu said these players were part of the development squad for next year.
Unfortunately, they would be attending school so he would be looking for their replacements.
Morobe FC team manager Stanley Khanna had praise for Witu and his young guns who had a tremendous fighting spirit.
He said Besta PNG Utd caused a lot of havoc for his side in the early part of the game.
He said the side had a lot of talent and  played like veterans and hopefully would become some of the finest players in the future.
