Bestow knighthood on our action Governor Peter Ipatas

 Grand Chief Peter Ipatas, the “Action Governor” of Enga should be bestowed with a knighthood.

The Government should recognise him because the people of Enga and PNG anticipated it for so long and it won’t be a surprise to them.

These are the reasons for Ipatas to be knighted: 

  1. He is one of the longest-serving governors in PNG. 
  2. His policies and actions greatly influence the nation, such as the National Government’s duplicating his free education policy in Enga. 
  3. He is the only parliamentarian in PNG who has vast experiences at all levels of government, from a village councilor to LLG president, provincial premier and now Governor of Enga.

To some extent, Ipatas is eligible for the Prime Minister’s post because he is the leader of the People’s Party.
