Beware of fake churches

Letters

THIS article is to enlighten non-church goers who are skeptical whether to add to the tally of new churches or to follow the rightful anointed church of God.
In the Book of Mathew 24:24 reads: “For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and performs signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.”
Again, in another Bible verse reads: “In the last days many will come in His name performing wonders saying, I am the lord.”
There are numerous churches recently formed by man in the name of the good Lord to generate funds and people should not be confused.
People should read the Bible and digest the contents coherently as it was written through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost.
PNG should not emulate the church goers of our ancestors in the late 60s.
The intellectuals of the contemporary world should follow what the Bible tells.
In Enga, there were four new churches established.
These are Komakasi founded by David Dii, Life in the Spirit Ministry by Dian Warep, Margret Ministry and the latest one founded by Robin Isaac.
The parent churches are in Enga and branches are in other provincial centres.
One or two of these churches have set foot on foreign soil.
Last year, David Dii was given red-carpet treatment in Australia when he went to open his new church.
Although they are using the Bible, their conduct is different and their way of worship is not in accordance with the Bible.
For instance, church members are invited to worship in the night with their clothes removed to “test sin”.
This is breach of cultural conduct and unbecoming of church groups. Some of their ways of worship are tantamount to cult worship and thus, not adhering to Biblical principles.
They are profit-oriented churches building empires to lure people of this Christian country to become followers in the hope of generating more funds.
I implore Christians to read and digest the contents of the Bible to see the maker coming in the Eastern sky.
For the Lord has said, I will come as a thief to receive those who read the Bible and follow my command.

  • When we pass on to the next life, there is only 2 final destinations we all are bound for. That is either Heaven or Hell.

Our choices and decisions we make now, while we are alive on Earth determines our final destination.

We all have to choose between God and Religion, that is man-made religion.
God gave us the gift of choice to choose for ourselves.

We choose the right path now so we don’t regret on the day of judgement.

  • If churches want to worship at night without cloths so be it…its are free world. If these new churches can or have the ability to lure criminals off the streets and into church at the cost of worshipping at night without clothes, there is justification. Which do you fear in real life situation criminals or worshippers without cloths?
