Bidar warns man to abide by bail terms

A magistrate warned a man charged with falsely obtaining K4000 from another man to strictly abide by his bail conditions.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar last Friday granted a K600 bail with strict conditions to Joe Wailo from Enga, charged with false pretence.
Wailo was previously released on a K300 bail but was rearrested because the officer to whom the payment was made, failed to provide a receipt.
In July last year, Wailo allegedly obtained K4000 from John Anjo, promising to give him a vehicle in return which he never honoured.
Bidar ordered Wailo to remain at his residence at 6-Mile and attend all his court hearings according to the appointed dates until his case was dealt with.
He transferred Wailo’s case to the district court after the public prosecutor elected to have the matter proceed summarily.
